In a world where many have lost the ability to understand Nature’s language - and with it, our connection to the natural world - I aim to bridge that gap through photography.

People protect what they love. And they love what they feel connected to.

Through my work, I seek to rekindle that connection - to awaken a sense of wonder, compassion, and love for the natural world. A love that inspires people to care, to protect, and to listen. To help Nature's needs be heard once more.

Hi. I’m Sterre.

I’m a photographer and scientist, with an academic background in biology and science communication (MSc).

My work tells stories across conservation, human–nature relationships, sustainability, and wildlife rehabilitation.

I travel and make stories all over the world, working on both personal projects and assignments for NGOs and other like-minded organizations.
